ENR reports that the 2022 Top 600 contracting firms are still facing the same challenges despite being two years into the pandemic. Inflation, shortage of materials, supply chain problems, and scarcity of skilled labor seems to be the most common challenges among the top contracting firms.
The data collected by ENR suggests that specialty contractors are constantly shifting gears; they re-strategize as often as needed and take immediate action. ENR reports that Top 600 revenues increased by 12.7%, a promising sign despite the lingering bottlenecks.
For 2022, Kilgore Industries ranked #186 on the overall Top 600 countdown and #42 as the top mechanical contractor. Kilgore is honored to be a Top Specialty Contractor two years running. Kilgore would like to thank the Engineering News Record for recognizing our leading efforts in the construction industry as an MEP specialty contractor.
