The Houston Business Journal recently announced the selection of 59 honorees for its second-annual Best Family-Owned Business Awards, and we are proud to be among them. These honorees were chosen by HBJ staff and nominated by members of the Houston business community for their outstanding contributions to both the business sector and the local community.
To be considered for this prestigious award, nominees were required to meet three key criteria:
Family Ownership: Each business must be at least 51% owned by the family, showcasing the importance of family values and heritage in their operations.
Generational Involvement: The involvement of multiple generations in the company’s operations or a long-established history in the business.
Local Presence: Honorees must be located in one of the Houston area’s 10 counties, emphasizing their significance within the local business landscape.
